Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Welcome to AutoAE. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

These Terms govern your relationship with AutoAE as a service. For specific rights to use the videos and templates you generate on the platform, see our License Agreement.

1. Who We Are

AutoAE ("we," "us," or "our") is an online video creation platform accessible at autoae.online. We provide a library of professional motion graphics templates and tools that let creators generate videos by combining ready-to-use templates with their own creative assets.

2. Eligibility & Account

Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to enter into these Terms on your own behalf. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use AutoAE only if your parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf and assumes responsibility for your use of the platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

Account security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at [email protected] immediately.

Account suspension. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

3. Acceptable Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Use AutoAE for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
  • Access or attempt to access the platform through automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) without our written permission
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of the service or other users
  • Abuse credits, free trials, refund mechanisms, or any other promotional offer
  • Upload malware, spam, or content designed to harm others
  • Circumvent watermarking, plan limits, or any technical protection measures
  • Use the platform to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination without refund and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

4. Subscription, Billing & Refunds

Plans. AutoAE offers Free, monthly, annual, and one-time purchase plans. Current pricing is available at autoae.online/pricing.

Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, charged to your payment method on file. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.

Refunds. All subscription payments — monthly, annual, and plan upgrades — are non-refundable. Once a billing period begins, no refunds will be issued for that period, including unused downloads or features.

One-time purchases are non-refundable once the video has been generated and downloaded.

The only exception is a technical billing error: if you were charged but received no access or benefits due to a confirmed system failure on AutoAE's end, contact [email protected] with your account email and payment details, and we will investigate and correct the error.

We may decline refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, including repeated subscribe-and-cancel patterns.

Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax), which will be added at checkout where required by law.

Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in immediate account termination and a permanent ban.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

Specific rules for what you can do with templates, uploaded materials, and generated videos are governed by our License Agreement.

In summary: you keep ownership of what you upload; AutoAE keeps ownership of templates and platform assets; you receive a personal license to use your generated videos as defined in the License. By uploading content, you also grant AutoAE a limited operational license to process that content as described in the "License You Grant to AutoAE for Your Uploaded Content" section of the License Agreement.

6. Indemnification

If a third party files a claim against AutoAE because of materials you uploaded, content you generated, or your use of the platform in violation of these Terms or the License Agreement, you agree to defend AutoAE and cover our reasonable costs — including legal fees, damages, and settlements.

This obligation does not apply to claims arising from AutoAE's own gross negligence or willful misconduct, and it survives termination of your account.

7. DMCA & Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on AutoAE infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to [email protected], addressed to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on our platform
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

We will review valid notices and act promptly. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice meeting the requirements of § 512(g)(3) to the same address. We will reinstate the content within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice that the original complainant has filed a court action.

AutoAE's role in hosting third-party-contributed content is protected under the safe harbor provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

8. Third-Party Services

AutoAE uses third-party services to operate, including payment processors (such as Stripe), cloud infrastructure providers, font libraries (Google Fonts), and analytics tools. Your use of those services through AutoAE is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. AutoAE is not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.

If a third-party service becomes unavailable, we may need to substitute or remove related features without notice.

9. Service Availability & Changes

We are continuously improving AutoAE. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice
  • Add, remove, or update templates, features, plans, or pricing
  • Set limits on storage, downloads, file sizes, or other usage parameters
  • Refuse service or remove content at our reasonable discretion

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes that meaningfully affect paying users.

10. No Warranties

AutoAE is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any generated content will be free of third-party claims arising from your uploaded materials.

We make no warranties, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement — to the fullest extent permitted by law. No advice or information you obtain from AutoAE creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoAE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms or the License Agreement will not exceed the greater of:

(a) the total amount you paid to AutoAE in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or

(b) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Account Termination & Data Retention

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the License Agreement.

After termination, your account data — including uploaded materials and generated videos — will remain accessible for 30 days for export, after which it will be permanently deleted from our active systems. Backups may be retained for an additional limited period in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

License consequences of termination — including what happens to videos you have already published to third-party platforms — are described in the License Termination section of our License Agreement.

The sections titled "Content and Intellectual Property," "Indemnification," "DMCA & Copyright Complaints," "Third-Party Services," "No Warranties," "Limitation of Liability," "Governing Law & Disputes," "Force Majeure," "Export Control & International Use," and "General Provisions" survive termination of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal resolution. If a dispute arises, please first contact us at [email protected]. We commit to good-faith discussions for 30 days before either party initiates formal proceedings.

Binding arbitration. If informal resolution fails, the dispute will be settled by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, conducted in English. AutoAE will pay JAMS filing and administrative fees on behalf of consumer users in excess of what they would have paid in court.

30-day arbitration opt-out. You may opt out of binding arbitration by sending written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of first creating your AutoAE account. Opting out has no other effect on your use of the platform.

No class actions. Whether in arbitration or court, disputes must be resolved on an individual basis. Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative actions are not permitted under these Terms.

Injunctive relief. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or confidential information.

14. Force Majeure

AutoAE is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, pandemics, labor disputes, internet or power outages, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party services.

15. Export Control & International Use

You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and economic-sanctions laws, including those administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

You may not use AutoAE if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or if you appear on any U.S. government list of restricted parties (such as the Specially Designated Nationals list).

If you access AutoAE from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws. AutoAE makes no representation that the platform is appropriate or available in every location.

16. Communications & Notices

From us to you. By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related communications from AutoAE — including account, transactional, security, and material legal notices — by email to the address on file or through in-app notification. These communications are part of the service and cannot be opted out of while you have an active account. Marketing emails are separate and you can unsubscribe at any time.

From you to us. Legal and formal notices to AutoAE must be sent to [email protected].

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of AutoAE after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

The same applies to our License Agreement.

18. General Provisions

Electronic signature. By clicking "I agree," creating an account, or otherwise using AutoAE, you consent to enter into these Terms electronically under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and similar laws.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about AutoAE, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose without any obligation to you.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and AutoAE.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the License Agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AutoAE and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
